Welcome back, we are in summer term, hopefully, the warmer days have also arrived!

We are all looking forward to teaching and watching you all on your future learning journeys this term!

In English we will be researching, then creating our own dynamic newspaper reports. This will enable us to learn essential vocabulary and punctuation to progress our writing and understanding further! We will also be writing a narrative about a flood. Really pushing those imaginations.

In our maths learning we will round up our lessons about measurement and move onto deepen our understanding of fractions. We will then move onto learning about money, shape, time and finally statistics. It will be truly an exciting and learning pact term.

In history we are learning about ancient Persia and the conflicts they had with ancient Greece. We will also be looking at all different types of settlements. Which will link with out planned school trip.

In science we will be observing plants grow and experimenting with different conditions to learn the best growing conditions for seeds.

PE continues to be each Wednesday and Thursday.

Your continued support to read at home with your child as much as possible is appreciated.

We can’t wait to continue with your child’s learning journey this term and prepare them for their move into year 4 at the end of the term.

Thank you for your continued support,

Miss Patterson, Miss Morton and Miss Atashkhar.
