Please see our Covid - 19 Response Information Page

Welcome to Rowan’s class page. I hope you have all had a lovely Easter break and a well – earned rest. How is it the last term already!

All the children have worked super hard over the last academic year developing their writing skills and we have seen some super writing, from stories to newspaper reports to poems. This term we will writing a non – chronological report based on climate change and re-visiting poetry and writing poems based on the poem The River by Valeria Bloom. Later on in the term, we will look at writing our own instructions and finish off with a narrative.

Last term we were working on Fractions which exercised our multiplication and division skills. Next term, we will look at decimals.  As we enter the final term your child will be sitting the Government Multiplication Check so please continue to support your child with their multiplication knowledge. We will also be learning about money, time and statistics this term.

Please remember to access TTRS and encourage your child to read. Please bring your reading book and reading record every day, so we can also listen to your child read.

Please bring in a bottle of water with your name on it to keep your brains hydrated! Remember to place them in the box at the back to prevent any spillages.

PE will still take place on Wednesdays and Fridays. Bring in your PE kits at the start of term and these can stay in the classroom till the end of each term.

Keep checking DOJO for any latest updates and to see your child’s amazing work!
