Annual Applications for Reception and Year 3

Suffolk County Council handles the annual admissions process on behalf of SET Felix Primary. Applications for places for the start of Reception should be made on Suffolk County Council’s Application Form. These are accessible on the LA’s website and should be submitted in accordance with the LA’s published deadlines for applications – Please see the guidance below.

For those parents/carers looking to apply for a place at SET Felix Primary it has been agreed with the Local Authority that for September 2021 Reception and Year 3 intake, we will be working to an admission number of 75 students.

At all times, in the event of oversubscription a range of criteria are applied by the School’s Local Advisory Board in determining applications. These are clearly laid out in the admissions policy.

For more information on admissions, please refer to the booklet ‘Schools in Suffolk’, which will be given on application for a place at the School for the start of Reception and Year 3. Parents who make a late application will be considered after those received by the deadline, according to the criteria listed in the ‘Schools in Suffolk’ booklet. It is necessary to apply at each stage of transfer for any School, which is not your catchment area School. Web chat is the quickest and easiest way to contact School Admissions, Monday to Friday 9.00am to 4.30pm. The “chat with us” button will appear in the right hand corner when someone is available to talk to.
